After the video is ready, the creator uploads it to the website. They give the video a title and a description so people know what it is about. They also add a picture called a thumbnail to grab the attention of viewers. When the video goes live, anyone on the internet can watch it.
Some creators make videos just for fun as a hobby. Other creators work very hard and make videos full time. These full time creators can make money from ads that play before or during their videos. When millions of people watch their videos, the creators can earn a living doing what they love.
Interacting with Videos and Creators
Watching videos is only part of the fun on the website. The platform lets viewers interact with the content in many ways. If you like a video, you can click a button to give it a thumbs up. This tells the creator that you enjoyed their work. You can also share the video with your friends on social media.
Below every video, there is a comment section. Viewers can type messages to share their thoughts about the video. Creators often read these comments to see what their fans think. Sometimes, viewers write suggestions for future videos. This helps the creator make better content next time.
You can also subscribe to channels that you like. When you subscribe, you get updates when the creator posts a new video. Your homepage will show you new videos from the channels you follow. This makes it very easy to keep up with your favorite people on the internet.
